Are you ready to explore Hogwarts and collect valuable loot? In Hogwarts Legacy, one of the best ways to gather loot is by claiming chests. Fortunately, there are plenty of looting chests spread widely all over the map, waiting to be discovered by players.
To claim these chests, players need to complete missions and find them. Similar to collection chests, players will find Vault Treasures where they can claim their chests and gather loot.
But if you want to take on a challenge and solve a puzzle to claim your reward, the Chess Puzzle Vault Treasure is waiting for you. Here’s how to solve it:
How to Solve the Chess Puzzle Vault Treasure In Hogwarts Legacy
Find the Door with Spinners
To get to the Chess Puzzle Vault Treasure, head to the south side of the Poidsear Coast. Once you arrive, you’ll see a door with two spinners on each side. To open the door, you need to use a Depulso spell to hit the spinners and make them spin. This may take some time, as you will need to hit them multiple times to open the door.
Enter the Cave and Solve the Puzzle
Once the door is open, enter the cave and you’ll see the Chess Puzzle. You will not be able to move anything except for some odd objects, including a vase or a cauldron. Your task is to checkmate the black king piece.
Use the Transformation Spell
Using Wingardium Leviosa or Accio on the item won’t work since it won’t be the original piece. Therefore, you will have to use a Transformation spell to break the item into pieces. After using the Transformation spell, it will turn the piece into the Bishop, which will smash the king piece.
Claim Your Reward
After destroying the King Piece, the chest will appear, and you can claim your reward.
