Destiny 2: Witch Queen might have many amazing quests and challenges to offer, but there are issues too like the Stoking The Flame quest bug.
If you are one of the users who is trying to go through the main campaign missions in Witch Queen and have encountered an obstacle in the form of this new bug that happens for the “Stoking The Flame” or “Riding The Storm” quest, then you might need to read this article.
How To Fix Stoking The Flame Quest Bug In Destiny 2: Witch Queen
This bug might appear for two of the quests. One of these is “Riding The Storm” while the other one is “Stoking The Flame” quest. What happens is that you might encounter notifications that show these quests as not being completed, even though you are already done with them.
There are reports on social media sites like reddit where the players have been complaining about the bug. This can happen due to some reasons, e.g logging back into an old account even though you have the quests completed on them, or just getting back to the game again to play Witch Queen expansion.
This glitch doesn’t appear to affect any general gameplay or progression, so there’s that. At worst, it will annoy you as a checklist that shows up for a quest that is already completed, but you can safely ignore it.
This is also echoed by Bungie who have confirmed that they know about this bug and should be working on a fix soon.
We are investigating an issue where the “Riding the Storm” and the “Stoking the Flame” quests may be incorrectly granted to veteran players as a result of a previous fix, and cannot be discarded.
Players can complete the quests to remove it from their inventory.
So if you are tired of seeing these notifications, you can either complete the quest again or wait for a fix, which might take some time to arrive.
