In the 2.0 update of Animal crossing, you will see many new items introduced in the game to make your Island look mesmerizing. Among these new items is a Donation Box. Fans are so far liking this feature where you can visit each other’s Island and drop gifts in the donation box.

How To Create a Donation Box:
Since this feature is a part of the new update that is 2.0, first you need to make sure that you updated your game to avail this item. After that, go to Resident Services and then to the Nook Stop. You have to get a donation box DIY recipe from the Nook Stop which is present under the Redeem Nook Miles section. For the recipe, you have to lay 800 Nook Miles.
Now go and check your larger house storage to get four pieces of Wood and 4 pieces of Softwood. You can then design the donation box with three finishes and three adorning sticks. That is how you build a donation box for your Island.
What is Donation Box Used For?
Once you have constructed it, you can place it anywhere you want to but keep in mind that it is easy for the visitors to find and interact with it.
The visitors whom you allow to come and tour your Island can drop off rewards in the donation box in the form of bells which you can withdraw anytime.
