This will turn the area red and reveal a wall covered in pages at the back. To listen to Alex Casey’s monologue, take a step back from the wall of pages and look up to find an Echo. Position yourself in front of the Echo and listen to the monologue. This will unlock a new inspiration for the Plot Board called the ‘Summoning Ritual’.
Executing the Ritual: Collapsed Tunnel Scene
To proceed, make some changes. Replace the current scene ‘End of the Line’ with ‘Summoning Ritual’ on the Plot Board. Then, go back across the track, move through the water, and follow the map to locate the shortcut that leads to the section called the Collapsed Tunnel.
Once you reach the Collapsed Tunnel, find the Writer’s Room and use the Plot Board there to switch to the scene ‘Summoning Ritual.’
This change will trigger an encounter with the Dark Presence. You must quickly escape by running through an open train carriage and exiting through a door at the end to evade the dark entity.
After successfully evading the Dark Presence, return to the Collapsed Tunnel, which will now be accessible. Proceed through this newly opened pathway to reach the murder site.
After arriving at the location of the murder, you will receive instructions for your next task, which indicates it is time to leave the subway and move on to the next objective.
