Our guide shows you where to find the Dragon Pits and how to gather the necessary resources to construct Karakuri camps. Discover how to protect the people of Azuma and progress through the game.

Wild Hearts is an exciting adventure game that immerses players in the world of Feudal Japan, where they must fight against colossal beasts threatening the people of Azuma. In this game, players must make their way to the village of Minato to meet allies who will help them with their hunt to protect the villagers.

How To Build and Unblock Dragon Pits In Wild Hearts

Unlike other hunting games, Wild Hearts features Dragon Pits instead of hunting camps. These pits enable players to construct Karakuri camps that serve the same purpose as traditional hunting camps. They allow players to cook food, forge weapons, and fast-travel. This guide will walk you through how to build Dragon Pits and where to find the resources to create them.

To find Dragon Pits in Wild Hearts, players need to explore the area and locate them. Once found, players must unblock them with resources that can be found in the game, such as Large Mist Crystals and Giant Spring Dust Crystals. The map icon for each Dragon Pit changes color from gray to red when you don’t have the required resources and to yellow when you have the resources.

Fortunately, players don’t need to travel throughout the area to locate each Dragon Pit. The map feature in the game allows players to easily locate and unblock Dragon Pits. The HUD also displays the name of the nearby Dragon Pit in the lower right corner.

Once players have unblocked all Dragon Pits, they can use Energy Resources to construct Dragon Karakuri. These Energy Resources include earth, fire, water, wind, and wood energy, which are represented by crystal, flame, droplets, swirl, and leaf symbols. Once all Energy Resources have been obtained, players can construct the Dragon Karakuri.

Wild Hearts is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows. With this guide, players can easily build Dragon Pits and Karakuri camps to progress through the game and protect the people of Azuma.
