Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is confirmed to get a FOV slider on all platforms. This is rare for consoles considering the limitations of their hardware.
FOV slider will allow players to adjust their field of view and to get a better idea of their surroundings. It is a staple for PC games but only a few console first-person shooters suppose such customizations.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is one of the few games to feature FOV slider as confirmed by Treyarch.

Currently, the game is going through a beta test on PS4 which is available as an early access bonus for those who pre-order the game. The developers plan to expand to other platforms and also shift to an open beta once this early access period ends.
