Nier Replicant Rusted Clump and Where To Get Them

GIStaffBy GIStaffApril 28, 2021No Comments2 Mins Read

In Nier Replicant, if you want to upgrade some of your weapons to level three and four you will need Rusted Clump. You will have to upgrade all of your weapons if you want to earn the platinum trophy. To get the necessary materials for weapon upgrades, you will need a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 12 rusted clumps. If you want to earn Forging Master achievement, you must upgrade 33 weapons. You can find these in the game, but there are five additional ones available via the 4 YoRHa DLC, as well as a hidden one for ending E. You will only need 9 rusted clumps if you only want to upgrade the first 33, and you will need 12 rusted clumps if you want to upgrade all 44. In this guide, we will show you where you can find Rusted Clump in Nier Replicant.

Where To Get Rusted Clump In Nier Replicant

You can find the Rusted Clump material in the Desert and Northern Plains. You can only get it in this way. It prefers sardines or carp as bait for some inexplicable purpose. Go to the Seafront tackle shop and purchase 40 carp. After that, head to the desert and begin fishing from the pier. You will have a chance to get rusted clumps along with other garbage. You can also use sardines as bait if you want to try your luck. If you don’t have any, buy them from the store on the seafront.  You can also find Rusted clumps in Northern Plains, underneath the bridge that leads to Junk Heap.

Go to the Northern Plains with sardines if you are just looking for Rusted Clump. It drops more consistently there. However, you will have a chance to get some Rusty Bucket if you go to the desert Carp, which can be used to upgrade weapons. Rusted clumps are less common in desert fishing nets. It all depends on whether you are only trying to improve one of your arms or going for the platinum.
