Nier Replicant Rainbow Trout Location
You can find the Rainbow Trout only in the Northern Plains in Nier Replicant. This place is located just north of the village, and it is a large open location that players can explore. You can find the Rainbow Trout at the Dock within the Northern Plains. This is right next to the junkyard’s entrance.
How To Catch Rainbow Trout in Nier Replicant
First and foremost, You will have to get a Lure, since this is the most effective bait for catching Rainbow Trout. You can buy this bait from in-game vendors. Then you will have to go fishing. To do so, walk up to the water and choose your bait. After that, all you have to do is wait.
The fish will bite the bait three times, and the bobber will dip up and down due to it, so it is up to you to predict when the fish is finally hooked. Reel in the rod as soon as you see it starting to bend. However, if you don’t catch it after three nibbles, you will lose the fish and it will escape.
To reel the trout, you will have to pull down on the left stick and turn it in the opposite direction that the fish is swimming.
