Frontier Developments has marked World Conservation Day by releasing a new look at one of Planet Zoo 2’s wildlife reserves, offering players a closer glimpse of the game’s Scottish Highland environment ahead of launch.
The newly released video focuses on the Scottish Highland Reserve, showcasing its rugged mountain landscapes, winding waterways, and scenery inspired by the real-world Scottish Highlands. The footage highlights the natural beauty of the reserve while emphasising the importance of protecting wildlife and fragile ecosystems.
Among the animals featured are the Red Deer, alongside brief appearances from the Golden Eagle, with both species shown in habitats designed to reflect their natural environments. The showcase celebrates the biodiversity of the region and aligns with the conservation themes that have long been central to the Planet Zoo series.
The video provides another preview of the environments players will be able to build and manage when Planet Zoo 2 launches later this year, with Frontier continuing to highlight the game’s focus on authentic habitats and wildlife care.
Planet Zoo 2 will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Standard Edition will be priced at £39.99 ($49.99/€49.99), while the Deluxe Edition will retail for £54.99 ($64.99/€64.99).
