PUBG Update 37.2 Adds G-DRAGON Collaboration, New Interactions, and Miramar Overhaul

Krafton has rolled out Update 37.2 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, bringing a mix of star power, gameplay innovation, and map refinements. The update introduces a limited-time collaboration with K-pop icon G-DRAGON, new tactical interactions that expand player options in combat, and a significant rework of Miramar’s Minas Generales. Alongside these additions, players can look forward to a fresh Survivor Pass and adjustments across popular game modes.

The headline feature is the G-DRAGON collaboration, which transforms select starting islands into Emote Stages where squads can perform to his music before deployment. Miramar itself hosts themed set pieces inspired by his work, including a fully decorated truck stop, fan room, and even a recreation of the “POWER” music video set. Branded elements extend into matches, with G-DRAGON-themed planes, Blue Chip Towers, and care packages adding flair to the battlegrounds.

Miramar’s Minas Generales has also been overhauled for better pacing and balance. Building layouts have been streamlined for faster looting, terrain has been tuned to reduce overpowering vantage points, and new loot spots have been added to encourage varied strategies. Visual updates such as brighter interiors further enhance readability during firefights.

A major gameplay shift arrives with new interactive mechanics. Players can now move deathboxes to safer locations or use them as bait, open pull doors in multiple directions to create new tactical options, and detonate destructible gas tanks that leave behind a smoke cloud for instant cover. These changes add new layers of creativity and risk-reward decisions in combat.

Beyond the headline updates, the patch introduces a new Survivor Pass with exclusive rewards. Team Deathmatch and Intense Battle Royale modes receive targeted improvements, while seasonal favorites Survivors Left Behind and Hungers Left Behind make a return.

PUBG’s Update 37.2 demonstrates Krafton’s continued effort to evolve the long-running battle royale by mixing cultural collaborations with gameplay experimentation, ensuring both long-time players and new audiences have fresh reasons to drop back into the fight.
