The Convergence Games Showcase will return on September 18, offering viewers a closer look at upcoming indie and AA titles through a two-hour live broadcast. The event, organized by Fourth Floor, will begin at 11:30 AM PT / 2:30 PM ET / 7:30 PM BST / 8:30 PM CEST and will stream on YouTube, Twitch, and Steam.
This year’s showcase will highlight games from publishers including Secret Mode, Raw Fury, Fireshine Games, Bandai Namco, Critical Reflex, and Hooded Horse, with additional partners yet to be announced. Confirmed titles include Still Wakes the Deep, Kingdom, Shadow of Doubt, Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree, Mouthwashing, Buckshot Roulette, Manor Lords, and Terra Invicta.
A group of well-known online creators will lead the broadcast, offering commentary, playthroughs, and live reactions. The lineup features CohhCarnage, Dexbonus, Jesse Cox, Ezekiel_iii, itsmeJP, Ravs, and Sips, all of whom have longstanding ties to the indie community.
Rich Keith, CEO of Fourth Floor, described the event as part of an effort to help independent developers stand out in a crowded market. “Each of our creator partners has a long history of championing indie games and their developers, so they are perfect ambassadors for the initiative,” he said in a prepared statement.
In addition to the showcase, Convergence has also expanded its outreach through The Convergence Podcast. Hosted by Dan Maher, the podcast pairs indie developers to share experiences, discuss challenges, and offer insights into the game development process.
The Convergence Games Showcase aims to position itself as a platform for discovery, giving audiences the chance to find new games while elevating the work of smaller studios.
