Sega and Dotemu have released a new Steam bundle that unites two of 2025’s major ninja-themed platformers. Titled the Path of the Ninja bundle, the collection includes Shinobi: Art of Vengeance and Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound at a reduced price. The bundle went live on August 22, 2025.
The release brings together two well-established franchises known for their demanding gameplay and long histories in the action-platformer genre. Shinobi: Art of Vengeance marks the return of Sega’s classic series, presenting a new 2D side-scrolling adventure with a hand-drawn art style. Players step into the role of Joe Musashi, who sets out on a quest of revenge after his village is destroyed and his clan is cursed.
Meanwhile, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound introduces a new side-scrolling entry in the long-running series, developed in collaboration with the team behind Blasphemous. The title aims to modernize the Ninja Gaiden formula while retaining its reputation for fast-paced, challenging combat.
By pairing both titles in a single package, Sega and Dotemu are positioning the bundle as an opportunity for fans of retro-inspired action games to experience two reinterpretations of classic ninja franchises. Both games were released earlier this year and have drawn attention for their distinct artistic approaches while remaining rooted in the traditions of demanding 2D platformer design.
The Path of the Ninja bundle is currently available for purchase on Steam. No details were provided on whether the package will expand to other storefronts or platforms in the future.
