KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Gust have officially released Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, inviting players to explore a world where alchemy is considered taboo. The game is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Windows PC via Steam, and, for the first time in series history, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
To mark the launch, KOEI TECMO has announced a special collaboration with Bandai Namco’s TEKKEN 8. This crossover will introduce themed costumes, special skills, and accessories as free DLC at a later date. Additionally, artist Benitama has created a commemorative illustration featuring protagonist Yumia alongside TEKKEN 8’s Reina.
A Journey to Unravel the Past
Set in a world where alchemy is feared, Atelier Yumia follows Yumia Liessfeldt and her companions as they uncover the truth behind the fall of the once-great Aladissian Empire. The game offers a vast open world divided into multiple biomes, allowing players to explore ruins, gather resources, and craft items using the signature synthesis system. A new “Simple Synthesis” feature lets players craft items without returning to their base, while the newly introduced “Building” feature allows them to create and customize their own base for the first time in the series.
Launch Editions and Bonuses
Atelier Yumia is available in standard and Digital Deluxe editions, along with two special physical editions. The Premium Box includes an artbook, a cloth poster, a soundtrack CD, and an exclusive early-access costume for Yumia. The Special Collection Box adds extra collectibles such as a tapestry, keychains, a short story book, and Yumia’s stuffed animal.
Season Pass holders can now download the first DLC pack, which includes swimsuit outfits for Yumia and her companions. Additionally, players who purchase the game within the first two weeks will receive exclusive costumes and equipment as an early purchase bonus.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is now available on all major platforms, featuring Japanese voice acting with text options in English, French, German, and Spanish.
