Newfangled Games, the innovative game development studio, has announced the release of an expanded demo for their award-winning top-down, 2D paper folding puzzle adventure game, ‘Paper Trail.’ The announcement comes as the game was featured in the ‘Ones to Play’ section of the Future Games Show.
The new demo offers players an enriched gaming experience, featuring four new worlds to explore and brand-new characters to interact with. In addition, the demo supports 13 languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (LatAm), Spanish (ES), Portuguese (BR), Japanese, Korean, Polish, Turkish, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. Support for the Steam Deck will be added soon, further expanding the game’s accessibility.
‘Paper Trail’ follows the life of Paige, a budding academic, as she ventures into an origami-crafted world to uncover its secrets and pursue her dreams. Players can fold the world to create hidden paths, discover new areas, and meet new characters in a beautifully handcrafted world.

‘Paper Trail’ is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, Series X│S, Nintendo Switch, and the Netflix mobile app in August 2023. PC players can already add the game to their Steam wishlist.
