Minecraft update 2.60 is out now for PC and consoles. You can get the details on the patch notes for the update here.
While the update is not yet available on Amazon devices or Nintendo Switch, it will be made available soon. The developers encourage players to upvote and report any new bugs on the bugs.mojang.com website, as well as leave feedback on feedback.minecraft.net.
Minecraft Update 2.60 Patch Notes
Fixes:
- Fixed an issue that could cause the game to get stuck at 66% when loading at launch (MCPE-168284)
- Fixed a crash that could occur at launch on iOS
- Fixed player names not appearing through the environment and behind walls (MCPE-168269)
- Fixed a bug that caused the text on Signs not to be displayed with ray tracing enabled on PC (MCPE-167638)
- Fixed an issue where players would load incorrect data when loading a local game after connecting to a server or Realm (MCPE-164765)
- Players are now prompted with the option to enable text-to-speech, if supported, on first startup
This latest update includes several important fixes, such as resolving an issue that caused the game to get stuck at 66% during launch (MCPE-168284), fixing a crash that occurred at launch on iOS devices, and correcting player names that were not appearing through the environment and behind walls (MCPE-168269).
The update also resolved an issue where the text on Signs was not being displayed with ray tracing enabled on PC (MCPE-167638). Additionally, the update fixed an issue where players would load incorrect data when loading a local game after connecting to a server or Realm (MCPE-164765).
Moreover, the update includes a new feature that prompts players with the option to enable text-to-speech if supported, during the first startup.
