According to SNK CORPORATION, Shingo Yabuki, the first Season 2 DLC character for THE KING OF FIGHTERS (KOF XV), will be published on January 17, 2023, along with a character-refinement patch for the whole cast. More DLC characters were also revealed.
After being moved by the strength of Kyo Kusanagi, young Shingo almost forced him to become his martial arts instructor. Kyo, on the other hand, considers Shingo to be his subordinate and treats him accordingly. Shingo has recently won Kyo’s admiration and looks to be gradual if slowly, progressing as a fighter. Because of his adoscelent manner of life, he has a popular personality. Shingo’s voice is provided by Takehito Koyasu.
Aside from Shingo, a handful of DLC characters will appear in KOF XV in 2023. Kim Kaphwan will emerge in the spring, followed by Sylvie Paula Paula, Najd, and two more unknown characters in the summer of 2023. There will also be a special Fighter Pass available for purchase that includes all six Season 2 DLC fighters, including Shingo Yabuki.
All of the characters on the roster will be upgraded in time for Season 2 to begin. Furthermore, starting on January 17, 15 staff roll songs from previous mainline KOF games will be added to KOF XV’s DJ STATION for free, enabling players to personalise the BGM during combat with their own music. More songs will be included in future updates.
