Psychonauts 2 has been updated to version 1.08 today by Double Fine. You can find out the complete patch notes from here.
This patch was released on consoles and PC. The update appears to resolve multiple issues on PC including those related to hitches and more. There are other bug fixes included in this patch as well. You can get the complete patch notes below, or have a look at them on the Steam forums.
Psychonauts 2 Update 1.08 Patch Notes
Update 1089619 addressed the following issues:
- Fix intermittent hitches on PC.
- Fix water in Bob’s Bottles displays incorrectly in photo mode.
- Fix lighting issues in Strike City and Cassie’s Collection
- Fix dialog tree delay in Fatherland Follies.
- Fix Panic Attack not using its phantom attack during Psychoseismometer battles.
