Biomutant has been updated to version 2.09 today by Experiment 101. You can find out the complete patch notes for this update from here.
The official patch version for this new update is 1.7. You will be prompted to download update 1.7 on the PS4 and PS5. While there is no native PS5 version, you can still enjoy the game through backward compatibility. As for the patch notes, there are no major additions in this update and it is mainly for localization fixes.
