The King of Fighters XV update 1.40 is out now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. You can get the complete patch notes here.
The Customize BGM option was introduced to the Room Menu in Room Match, and while playing in Spanish, some of the allocated keyboard keys were changed. The BGM that Player 1 has set will play normally during the match. You may now select Member Select in Party VS’s results screen ( excluding PARTY VS).

Some other changes mentioned in the patch notes include Low Res Background Mode options that have been added to the GRAPHICS tab of the Options menu. When searching “Any” for Player Strength, it was easier to find players of a similar rank to oneself.
