Temtem, the massively multiplayer creature collection game, has released a new patch today that introduces two new gameplay modes, Nuzlocke and Randomlocke. The update also includes the Leprechaun’s Eve event, which offers players new items and rewards.
What Are Nuzlocke and Randomlocke Mode
The Nuzlocke and Randomlocke modes are designed to provide a more challenging experience for players. The Nuzlocke mode is a self-imposed ruleset that players can apply to their gameplay. The rules include limitations on the Temtem that can be captured and when the last Temtem of a player is knocked out, the game is over. Captured Temtem must also be nicknamed to increase the attachment of players to their team.
On the other hand, the Randomlocke mode is a randomized version of the Nuzlocke ruleset, where players have no control over the Temtem they encounter, which makes the game even more unpredictable and challenging.
The exact implementation of these modes is not known yet, but players can expect to test their skills and strategies in these new gameplay options.

Aside from the new modes, Temtem’s Leprechaun’s Eve event offers a variety of new items and rewards to collect. Players can earn a new banner, lucky holo, furniture, seal, hat, and emote. The event will run from March 13 until April 2, 2023, so players have plenty of time to collect all the rewards.
Patch 1.3 also includes various bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, making the gameplay experience smoother and more enjoyable for everyone.
