Subnautica and Subnautica Below Zero have been updated to version 1.12 today by Unknown Worlds. You can find out the complete patch notes here.
This patch has brought some community-requested fixes including for the screen tearing on PS5. There was also an issue with the save files disappearing for the game on PS4 and PS5. All of this appears to have been resolved with a new patch that is available to download now. Get the details on the official website, or have a look at them below.
Subnautica and Subnautica Below Zero Update 1.12 Patch Notes
Subnautica:
- Fix for screen tearing on 4K displays.
- Vsync for PS5 performance mode.
- Dynamic Resolution support.
Subnautica and Below Zero:
- Fix for save files disappearing
- Saves are now fault-tolerant and should not corrupt on fails
- Screenshots are reduced in quality to avoid consuming save size
- Save process is now optimized into a single step
- Save sizes increased to 96 MiB (with 6 slots enabled)
- Screenshots no longer display desaturated and/or incorrect
