Sonic Origins update 1.03 was released today for PS4 and PS5. You can get the complete patch notes for this update here.
This minor hotfix deals with an issue where the game was crashing or hanging on a PS4 or PS5. To trigger this issue, the player had to open the Rankings while they had some existing records in My Data. After the update, this issue should be hopefully resolved by now.
