Rainbow Six Siege Update 2.46 Patch Notes (1.050): What’s New In March 21 Update

Rainbow Six Siege has released an update, 2.46, that includes a range of bug fixes to enhance the gameplay experience. This latest patch, Y8S1.1, is available on all platforms and its download size varies depending on the platform.

The update is designed to improve the functionality of Maestro’s Evil Eye, Valkyrie’s Black Eye, and the Bulletproof Camera by allowing them to be accessed in Online matches with the unique or secondary ability input button. Additionally, the Kludge Drone of Brava is now displaying out-of-range feedback on the HUD when failing to hack due to distance. The 6P41 reload animation has also been fixed to start from the same spot when canceled while inserting the magazine.

The Y8S1.1 patch also addresses issues related to the detection of Claymores and Nomad’s Air Jab that are converted by a Kludge Drone controlled by Mozzie, and Solis detection by IQ’s Electronics Detector. The patch has also fixed a glitch where bullet holes could be used to gain an unfair line of sight on the Kafe Dostoyevsky map.

The patch also fixed various audio and operator issues. For instance, Maestro’s Evil Eye open and shoot prompt was missing after being converted by Brava’s Kludge Drone. Thorn’s Razorbloom Shell remains visible after being destroyed by a Mag-NET converted by Brava’s Kludge Drone. The patch has also fixed multiple LOD issues on various maps and various Shop and Customization issues.

The update also focuses on improving the user experience, fixing various localization issues and the issue of overlapping text being displayed on all weapon skins that are part of a bundle.
