Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is a popular online tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal. The game is set in a modern world where players take on the roles of attackers and defenders in various missions, such as rescuing hostages, defusing bombs, and taking control of objectives. The game emphasizes environmental destruction and teamwork among players.
Rainbow Six Siege received positive reviews from critics, who praised the game’s tense multiplayer and tactical gameplay. Despite initial sales that were below expectations, the game’s player base grew significantly, and it is now considered one of the best multiplayer games in the modern market. The game has 70 million registered players and is also an esports game, with a spin-off game, Rainbow Six Extraction, being released in January 2022.
Today’s hotfix maintenance is expected to resolve some of the issues and improve the overall gameplay experience for the players. Players should expect up to 60 minutes of downtime during the maintenance.
