Psychonauts 2 has been updated to version 1.09 today. You can get the patch notes for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X from here.
The game was updated recently to add support for two additional new languages. This applied to the in-game subtitles as well as signage. This is the only change for this new update as far as the developers have shared in a tweet. Take a look at the patch notes for this update below.
Psychonauts Update 1.09 Patch Notes
The savvy cadets have noticed! Yes, we have updated Psychonauts 2 and finally added two new languages for subtitles and in-game signage. We promised this at the start of the year and are incredibly happy that the world of P2 is growing larger!
We don’t know what the future may hold for additional language support for the moment. We hope that this expansion helps more players dive into psychedelic worlds and dental nightmares!
In addition to two languages (Latin American Spanish and Russian) we’re happy to say that MacOS and Linux versions of Psychonauts 2 are close at hand. As in we’re hoping to release them next week and will update you as soon as they’re available!
