Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Update Version 1.3.0 Released for Nintendo Switch

Version 1.3.0 update for the Nintendo Switch exclusive titles Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet was released today on April 19.

The update addresses a bug affecting Trainers who caught an Egg instead of Walking Wake or Iron Leaves in Tera Raid Battles before updating to version 1.2.0. With this fix, affected Trainers can now catch these Pokémon. Tera Raid Battle events for Walking Wake and Iron Leaves will also return around the time of this game update. More details on the Tera Raid Battle events can be found on the game’s official page.

Feature adjustments in the update include a change to the deadline for entries for Friendly Competitions, found in the Online Competitions section of the Battle Stadium. Previously, entries were allowed until the Friendly Competition began. Now, entries will be allowed until the Friendly Competition ends.

Bug fixes in the update address various issues in Link Battles, Battles, Pokémon GO connectivity, and other miscellaneous aspects of the game. This includes fixes for the Cud Chew Ability, the display of Terastallized Zoroark’s type, and the registration of Hisuian Zoroark in the Pokédex for Trainers who received it as an early-purchase bonus for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.
