MLB The Show 22 Update 1.19 Patch Notes: What’s New In December 14 Update

MLB The Show 22 update 1.19 is out today for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. You can get the complete patch notes here.

There are just two minor fixes implemented in this update. One is related to the online head-to-head mode where some users would get freeze games when replaying their performance. The second issue is with the co-op mode where several bugs were resolved that could lead to a soft lock in the game.

ONLINE HEAD-TO-HEAD:

  • Fixed an issue that would allow some users to intentionally freeze games during replays.

CO-OP:

  • Fixed several bugs that could cause a soft lock in the pre-game menus.

The Show 22 is the seventeenth installment in the MLB: The Show franchise, published on April 5, 2022. It was made available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S consoles, as well as the Nintendo Switch, a first for the franchise. Shohei Ohtani, a Los Angeles Angels two-way player (pitcher and hitter), is the cover star.

MLB on ESPN Radio announcers Jon “Boog” Sciambi and Chris Singleton has been named the 2017 season’s play-by-play commentators. The March to October game mode has been enhanced to endure numerous seasons rather than just one. The Stadium Creator has been updated to be more dynamic, albeit it is not available on 8th-generation systems.
