The latest Update 1.29 for Jurassic World Evolution 2 brings a plethora of new features and improvements, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

The Cretaceous Predator Pack introduces four formidable prehistoric species to your park:

  • Gigantoraptor: The largest known Oviraptorosaur, characterized by its impressive coat of feathers and elongated legs, making it a speedy predator.
  • 2Utahraptor: A feather-coated, intelligent predator with large, scythe-like claws, adding awe to your park.
  • Concavenator: Known for its distinctive narrow hump, this Early Cretaceous theropod is agile and instantly recognizable.
  • Tarbosaurus: Inspired by the Netflix show, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous: Hidden Adventure, this massive predator demands secure enclosures for park safety.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 Update 1.29 Patch Notes

Update 8, released alongside the Cretaceous Predator Pack, offers new features and enhancements, including:

  • New Dinosaur Variants: Including Allosaurus 2022, Dimorphodon 2022, and others.
  • Automated Hatcheries: Hatcheries can now maintain a target population automatically, simplifying dinosaur management.
  • Species Unlock Shuffling: A new setting in Custom Challenge and Sandbox mode that partially randomizes the order of species unlocks.
  • Pack Chase Behaviour: Select carnivorous dinosaurs can now hunt in packs, adding realism to predator behavior.
  • New Decorations: Enhance your park with new bins, sun loungers, benches, plant pots, fountains, and banners.
  • Prebuilt Layouts: Inspired by various levels, these layouts offer ready-made parks in Sandbox and Custom Challenge Mode.
  • Park Teams: Improved vehicle interaction with Tour Gates and AI-controlled team movements.
  • Capture Mode Enhancements: Change the time of day and weather in Capture Mode for better capture experiences.
  • Airlift Releases: Queue multiple asset releases for Airlift.
  • Gene Library Search Bar: Easily search for species in the Genome Library and Species Viewer.
  • Show Unresearched Feeders: The feeder menu now displays unresearched items.
  • Path Replacement Brush: Overwrite paths with a new replacement mode and adjustable brush radius.
