GTA V Update 1.004.001 Patch Notes: What’s New In December 16 Update

GTA V update 1.004.001 is out now for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. You can get the details on the patch notes here.

According to the GTA Net community, this update might be related to the Up n’ Atomiser weapon. It could be a fix related to a crash being reported with this weapon’s usage. The download size of this update is also just around 200 MB which is small for a patch.

GTA V Update 1.004.001 Patch Notes

A small ~200 MB update for #GTAOnline has just launched on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. No details are known, but it could be to fix a reported crash bug with the Up n’ Atomiser weapon, if one owned the Xmas 2018 livery.

[December 16, 2022] – Game Stability and Performance

  • Fixed multiple crashes that occurred in GTAV and GTA Online

GTA V was released for the PS5 and Xbox Series with a new title, Expanded, and Enhanced. It added ray-tracing support in the form of improved shadows and better performance at 60 FPS. The game is also available for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
