Rockstar Games has announced a major update for GTA Online, set to launch on June 13, 2023. The update, titled San Andreas Mercenaries, will introduce new missions, vehicles, events, and a host of gameplay improvements across all platforms. The GTA Online update is now available for preload on PS5 and PS4, with sizes of 5.5 GB and 2.291 GB respectively.

The update also includes alternative sprint control and the ability to select a name for Acid products for a 5% sell bonus.
Balancing Updates: The update will increase payouts on many Collectibles and Events, rebalance weapons on the P-996 Lazer and Mammoth Hydra, and prevent the Orbital Cannon from being instantly reset or refunded.
Career Progress: The new Career Progress feature will allow players to track their criminal activities and progression, making it easier to see all their accomplishments at a glance.
Creator Updates: The Rockstar Creator will receive a number of additions and updates, including dozens of new props, a Snow weather option for Deathmatches, Races, and Survivals, and the option to toggle musical score on and off.
