Sucker Punch has confirmed that this new update is a minor hotfix that resolves a simple issue with the game. What happened was if players who arrived at the new Iki Island while wearing the Sakai Armor would be unable to progress. If you were affected by it, the good news is that this has been resolved. Patch 2.06 is now live for #GhostOfTsushima Director’s Cut. This addresses an issue where players were able to arrive on Iki Island wearing the Sakai Armor and were unable to progress.
