Fortnite has been updated to version 3.56 (patch 20.40) today. Here are the patch notes for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS5, Switch, and Mobile.
The new patch will bring skins, modes, weapons, and more. This is in addition to the various bug fixes that have been implemented for the game so far. Take a look at tall the new changes below.

Here are the known issues.
General
- Players do not receive toast notifications while in a match in a party with another player
- Traps may sometimes not place immediately
- Vehicles may have trouble driving up or down steep terrain
- Water appears to float on the ground
Battle Royale
- Anvil Rocket Launcher UI missing
- Driving a vehicle can sometimes clip under the map when impacting the ground
- Opening the Map or Quests while using Split-screen causes the 2nd player’s view to turn black.
Creative
- Trackers disappear after a Player leaves game
- Tracker Device
- Joining a Creative game in progress may lock the new player out until the round ends
- Vending Machines
- Prop Mover doesn’t send to channel “When Player Hit Transmit On” event is triggered
Save The World
- Legendary perks cannot be changed using perk recombobulator
- Destroyed beds are not being counted towards quest completion
- MAP UI focused when the sidebar is open
- The screen flashes white when R.O.S.I.E. is fired at or around the player
