Fortnite has been updated to version 3.54 for PS4/PS5 and 20.30 as the official version on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PC, and Switch. Patch Notes are here.
This patch is coinciding with May the 4th day so it is likely going to bring Star Wars focused merchandise and events like the Lightsabers. There are bug fixes implemented in this update as well. The Scarlet Witch is also rumored to be a part of this new update. Take a look at the complete list of changes shared below.
Fortnite Update 3.54 Patch Notes 20.30
Here are the known issues listed some of which have been fixed.
General
- Street Shine Pickaxe Disabled
- Players do not receive toast notifications while in a match in a party with another player
Battle Royale
- Vaults At Seven Outposts Do Not Open
- Anvil Rocket Launcher UI missing
- Driving a vehicle can sometimes clip under the map when impacting the ground
- Opening the Map or Quests while using Split-screen causes the 2nd player’s view to turn black.
Creative
- Some props in the Agency Upper and Lower prefabs are shown as blank tiles.
- Template Islands load blank
- Player Counter Device
- Spawn Pads
- Skydive Volume will not remove flight when team switches
- Trackers disappear after a Player leaves game
- Tracker Device
- Guards Remain active if the player returns to the hub while the Guards are active.
- Prop Mover
- Some Items missing Guard tags in Creative.
- Joining a Creative game in progress may lock the new player out until the round ends
- Vending Machines
