Final Fantasy VII Remake was updated to version 1.02 by Square Enix. The full patch notes for this update can be seen below.
This update has been released ahead of the launch of the PS5 version of the game that comes with a complete visual overhaul and a new DLC that adds Yuffie to the game. This DLC will be available as part of the PS5 version but those who have upgraded their PS4 copies to the PS5 version will have to purchase this DLC separately. It has been priced at $19.99. The patch notes for the new update mention that it adds the ability to transfer save data from the PS4 to the PS5 version.
