Elden Ring Update 1.13 Patch Notes: What’s New In March 23 Update

Elden Ring update 1.13 for PS4, and 1.09 for other platforms including PC, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series is out today. Here are the patch notes.

Bandai Namco has released a significant update 1.13 to Elden Ring, one of the critically acclaimed action role-playing games of 2022. Version 1.13 (officially patch 1.09) has been deployed to servers on all platforms, bringing with it a range of balance adjustments and bug fixes. The game’s servers underwent maintenance on March 23, 2023, to facilitate the update, which took approximately three hours to complete.

Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, was released on February 25, 2022, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and features worldbuilding provided by George R. R. Martin, the renowned fantasy writer. In the game, players control a customizable character on a journey to repair the Elden Ring and become the new Elden Lord.

Elden Ring features an interactive open world presented through a third-person perspective. Players can freely roam six main areas using their steed Torrent as the primary mode of transportation. Hidden dungeons can also be explored to find useful items. Combat is facilitated by several types of weapons and magic spells, including non-direct engagement enabled by stealth mechanics. The game features online multiplayer, with players able to join each other for both cooperative and PvP combat.
