Blizzard Entertainment has announced Diablo II: Resurrected Ladder Season 4 and released patch notes for Update 1.025, bringing a variety of adjustments, quality-of-life updates, and bug fixes.
Diablo II: Resurrected Ladder Season 4 is scheduled to begin on May 4, offering players the chance to reach Level 99 and collect powerful loot. The season’s launch timing varies by region, with North America launching at 5:00 p.m. PDT on May 4, Europe at 2:00 a.m. CET on May 5, and Asia at 10:00 a.m. KST on May 5.
Diablo II: Resurrected Ladder Season 4 and Update 1.025 Patch Notes
Ladder Season 4 will feature different modes, including Pre-Expansion Ladder, Pre-Expansion Hardcore Ladder, Ladder, and Hardcore Ladder. After Ladder Season 3 ends, all characters will be transferred to their respective non-ladder groups, and all items in the shared stash will be moved to a new Withdraw Only set of Shared Stash tabs.
Patch 2.7
On May 2 at 10:00 a.m. PDT, Patch 2.7 will introduce a variety of feature adjustments, quality-of-life updates, and bug fixes. Some notable adjustments include:
- Four additional character slots available across all online modes
- Resetting the ability to reset stat and skill points at Akara for Ladder characters from previous seasons used in non-Ladder games
- Automated system to remove malicious messages from all chat lobbies
Some quality-of-life updates and bug fixes include:
- Revised Next Hit Delay system
- Removal of knockback from the Bul Kathos’ Sacred Charge 2-Handed Sword
- Druids can now shapeshift directly between their Werewolf and Werebear forms
- Assassin’s trap skills now benefit from +% To Elemental Skill Damage modifiers
- Various fixes for issues related to gameplay, general performance, ladder play, PC-specific concerns, console-specific concerns, and modding
