Diablo 2 has been updated to version 1.16 today by Activision Blizzard. You can get the complete patch notes for this update from here.
According to the community manager, this patch is related to various minor bugs that have been fixed with this update. They are also patching the game on the back-end to keep it updated for the upcoming Ladder launch. Take a look at the changes mentioned in the patch notes below.
Diablo 2 Update 1.16 Patch Notes
Today we are releasing an update to Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 2.4 (Build Version | 69324) as we prep for the official Ladder launch! With this update we are not anticipating any downtime for players, however, we will monitor our channels here to ensure all is well. In addition to back-end updates for Ladder launch, this update will include some bug fixes. Here’s a list of what’s getting fixed:

- Fixed an issue where the ‘Confine Mouse Cursor’ option would re-enable whenever a cinematic is viewed
- Fixed an issue where having Fist of the Heavens bound could impede your ability to pick up items
