Dead Cells was updated to version 1.23 today on February 15. The patch notes mention that it is just a minor hotfix for the game.
The game had received its major DLC expansion recently for all platforms in January. The update today is aimed at fixing a crash that occurred when the player entered the video settings. It should be resolved now after installing this new update.
