DayZ update 1.40 patch was released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can get the complete patch notes for this update from here.
There are several new things added to the game including weapons. The complete list of the additions is available to view below. Some of the bugs that are mentioned in the patch notes are when accessing a pause menu or exiting a vehicle, parts of the HUD (HUD display) could not be deactivated, and the stamina indicator was not visible in the inventory with the HUD disabled. The spark plug was broken too soon when driving the Gunter and Olga without a radiator, and the slot for cooking equipment did not slot properly when the tripod was not attached.
