Control Ultimate Edition Update Today Fixes Crashing Issues On Xbox Series and PS5

Remedy Entertainment has deployed a new update today for Control Ultimate Edition on Xbox Series and PS5 that resolves some issues with the game.

Remedy Entertainment has released the Control Ultimate Edition update 01.000.002 today on PS5 while an update was also confirmed for the Xbox Series consoles today. This update aims to resolve the crashes that players are experiencing in the game.

According to Remedy’s Communication Director, Thomas Puha, they are working on an additional update for the Xbox Series consoles that is aimed at further reducing the crashes that the players are experiencing in the game.

“Expect an update for Control Ultimate Edition on Wednesday for PS5 and Series X|S. It fixes some of the crash issues on X|S and mission related bugs, ” said Thomas Puha. “Then, we’re investigating Series X|S crashes with Microsoft, with a fix currently in testing. This would be another update. We’ll have more on this as soon as possible.”

Control Ultimate Edition is available for the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. It was released on February 2. The Ultimate Edition comes bundled with all of the post-launch DLC content and was also released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The PS5 and Xbox Series version offers additional visual enhancements including 60 FPS support and ray-tracing.
