Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition update 1.06 was released today for PS4 and Xbox One. You can get the complete patch notes here.
Gearbox Software has updated the older Borderlands games with some small changes. This includes The Handsome Collection and Game of the Year Edition. Both of these were released for the PS4 and Xbox One and while fans might hve hoped for a native PS5 or Xbox Series patch with this update, it is not the case apparently as far as we can tell.

Gearbox Software first ported the prequel to Borderlands bundled with Borderlands 2. They later ported the first Borderlands as a Game of the Year Edition meaning it came packed in with all of the post-launch downloadable content that was released for it.
These games run at 1080p at 60 FPS on the PS4 so unfortunatley there is no native 4K at 60 FPS support here even if you play the game on a PS5 or Xbox Series console.
