Battlefield 2042 is crashing on the Xbox Series consoles just like some other major games. A new hotfix will resolve this issue on November 17.
EA Dice has confirmed that they are releasing a new patch for the Xbox Series S|X on November 17. This patch will be available to download for Battlefield 2042 and resolve the issue with the game crashing on Xbox Series S|X consoles.
How To Fix Battlefield 2042 Crashing on Xbox Series S|X
As it stands, you don’t have a lot of choices to fix this issue. You can delete and redownload the game again or make sure your console firmware is updated to the latest version.

Hi everyone,
We are aware of some Battlefield 2042 players on Xbox Series X experiencing a full console shutdown crash during gameplay. Based on our active investigation with Microsoft, this crashing is caused by a system issue which is also impacting FIFA, Madden, and NBA2k players.
An optional update targeted to resolve related crashing issues will be available to all Xbox Series X players starting November 17, and as mandatory update on November 23.

You need to download the optional update which will be available to Xbox Insiders on November 17 or wait for the public update to be released on November 23 to fix this issue on your consoles.
