Atomic Heart Patch 1.4.0.0 (1.09 for PS4) has been rolled out and is now available on PC and consoles. This latest update includes several changes and improvements to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
One of the key changes in Atomic Heart Patch 1.4.0.0 (1.09 for PS4) is the addition of HUD and subtitle size settings, giving players more control over the game’s display. Additionally, a 120Hz mode has been added for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S users with compatible devices that are supported by consoles, providing a smoother and more responsive gameplay experience.
Other changes and improvements in the update include fixing issues with unlocking achievements and auto-detection of voice-over language, improved display of shadows, fixing issues with cartoons being absent in save rooms, and updated first-person animations.
Quests have also been improved with fixes for freezing issues and subtitle display, while gameplay in the open world has been enhanced with the addition of the ability to loot corpses lying in the water and improved climbing in “corners.”
Furthermore, the update includes stability improvements with better optimization, while PC users can now enjoy fixed DLC content visualization on the character in the main menu.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SOLVING SOME ISSUES
