New Features In WWE 2K23
WWE 2K23’s cover star is John Cena, who appears in all three versions of the cover. WWE 2K23 features a range of game modes, including MyFACTION, MyGM, Showcase, Universe, career mode MyRISE, and a full creation suite, all of which have been updated with new features. Showcase mode, which features Cena, allows players to recreate the most notable losses in his career, featuring narration from Cena himself. Players can also compete in WarGames matches for the first time in any WWE 2K game, with online support added for the Royal Rumble match.
The in-game tutorial is now presented by The New Day’s Xavier Woods, who is creating his own chapter in Cena’s Showcase by training with Happy Corbin and Coach Drew Gulak at the WWE Performance Center for his fictional match against Cena at Wrestlemania 38. MyRISE features two distinct storylines: The Legacy, a female storyline, and The Lock, a male storyline.
MyFACTION has been updated with online play, while MyGM adds four-player support, five new playable GMs, and match types, as well as new single’s mid-card championships and two new brands. The main goal of MyGM is to earn 10 Hall of Fame trophies across multiple seasons of a MyGM campaign, in which are earned by completing career achievements and seasonal challenges, to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, where you can keep playing or retire a save file. The WWE Slammy Awards are awarded after Wrestlemania at the end of the season, and new customizable options are available, including snake order, a customizable starting budget for the WWE Draft, and shake-ups.
