V Rising May 30 Update Rolled Back After White Screen Bug

V Rising had just received an update today however it has been rolled back after an issue with a white screen bug was reported by the players.

The white screen bug appears to have been occurring since the launch of the most recent patch for the game. It seems to have added some excellent optimization features including an FPS cap and more graphics options to tweak the game based on the hardware requirements.

While the patch notes were welcomed among the community, the developers decided against releasing it in its current state as revealed in their tweets. The new patch should have rolled back if you are playing the game on Steam, and if you haven’t downloaded the update today, there won’t be one.

There have been some complaints regarding the game’s performance and the developers have shared a list of known issues that they are working on right now. Since the game has launched in early access, these issues might be resolved with time.

The game has become quite popular on Steam and continues to top its sales chart. It was the best-selling game of Steam since it launched earlier in Steam and enjoys a healthy amount of concurrent players online.
