Ubisoft Shares a Fix For The Division 2 Bug After 1.34 Update

Ubisoft has issued an update for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 that brought the game up to version 1.34. It also hampered some players’ ability to play the game.

Ubisoft stated on their support page that Title Update 13.2 is causing issues for certain gamers and that they are working on releasing a fresh patch. Meanwhile, they’ve proposed various solutions to get rid of the problem.

Since the release of our latest patch on September 21st, some players reported not being able to start a game session with their characters or identified some invisible agents in various game modes.

These two issues appear to be connected to the same bug and we are currently testing a client fix to be deployed in the upcoming days, we will let you know as soon as we have a confirmed date.

Today, we would like to give you some further explanations about this situation and hopefully, help you limit the risk of having your character blocked before the release of the fix.

Following the latest maintenance, it appears that some gear elements are now visually corrupted due to a missing shader in the version, preventing the game to render them properly.

While PC players may be able to continue playing with some potential visual glitches, the character would become completely invisible (and therefore invincible) on Consoles.

With this shader fix, you will be able to restart using these equipment pieces, and any other ones that could be affected, as usual.

We know that many of you were excited to be able to play the Golden Bullet global event and therefore made the decision to extend this event for an additional week.
