Ubisoft Massive’s free-to-play game The Division Heartland is currently going through a closed beta test and 20 minutes of gameplay footage has now leaked online.
In the video that has been uploaded to Vimeo, we can see 20 minutes of gameplay along with a different video that showcases the opening and introduces this new game. The senior designer talks the player through the various aspects of this free-to-play game in the introduction video.
In the video, the designer calls it a “while new Division experience”. The focus has been shifted from big cities to smaller towns. The location in the closed beta is called Silver Creek. There is a co-op-focused story with the Expedition mode. Additionally, there is a 45-players PvEvP mode. Both modes focus on traditional looting and fighting while avoiding virus contamination.
In the video, Ubisoft makes it clear that they are looking for player feedback. Those who participate in the beta will be sent a short survey and can also join the support forums to discuss the issues that they had with the game in order to better prepare it for a launch.
The Division Heartland was announced earlier this month. It will be a free-to-play game that will launch for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
