Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Review Copies Have Not Been Sent Out To The Gaming Press

Review copies for Warner Bros Games and Rocksteady Studios’ action shooter, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, have not been sent out to the gaming press.

Speaking during the latest episode of Giant Bomb’s Game Mess Mornings, host Jeff Grubb, who is known for his connections within the game industry, pointed out that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released in a week, and he doesn’t know anyone that has a review code for the game. Co-host Lucy James mentioned she hasn’t heard of anyone who has a review copy, either.

There are no indications of anyone currently being in possession of a review copy of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on the social media. Perhaps Warner Bros Games has some sort of non-disclosure agreement in place that prevents them from making it public. However, this is generally not the case, and all signs point to no pre-release review copies being sent out.

Given the negative sentiments surrounding Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and its focus on live service elements and the rather mixed previews from the gaming press, it’s likely that the publisher wishes to avoid sending out any review copies altogether and let the fans decide come launch day.

Warner Bros Games does seem to want to support the game with plenty of post-launch content. Recently, Twitter/X user aka Miller Ross, who has been offering information regarding Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League for some time, shared that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will feature 4 Seasons in its first year, which will bring new episodes and characters, including The Joker, Lawless, and Deathstroke.

Regarding Lawless’ gameplay, Ross mentioned that her melee weapon is a shield of some kind and her traversal is stolen Coluan tech, so perhaps her shield is as well. According to him, she has some alien, perpetual motion gimmick. He added that her gameplay doesn’t replicate that of Deadshot beyond the fact that they both use guns in combat, which is common across all playable characters.
