Suffer the Night: Indie Horror Game Release Date Announced

Assemble Entertainment and Tainted Pact have announced the upcoming release of Suffer the Night, a terrifying indie horror game that will haunt players on Steam beginning April 17th. The game promises to offer a bone-chilling blend of nostalgia and fear, with the added bonus of classic dungeon-crawler gameplay.

In Suffer the Night, players will take on the role of Stacey Liden, a painter who receives a mysterious floppy disk in the mail. As she begins to play the text-based adventure contained within the disk, the game’s horrors start to leak into the real world. A mysterious and threatening stranger urges Stacey to finish the game, and players will have to flex their old-school gaming muscles to survive both the Eldrixon and the real world.

The game offers a unique combination of two genres of horror games, balancing the chilling anxiety of the text-based adventure with the dread of first-person survival horror. Suffer the Night promises to deliver a horrifying haunting that will leave players on the edge of their seats.

To coincide with the release date announcement, the developer has revealed a new set of screenshots that are sure to send chills down players’ spines. Interested gamers can register their interest in reviewing the game and can download the full press kit for more information.

Suffer the Night releases on April 17, 2023, and a free demo is now available to try on Steam. To stay up-to-date with the latest news, follow Assemble Entertainment on social media and join the official Assemble Discord server.
