Starfield Themed Xbox Wireless Controller and Headset Reportedly Get a Price and Release Date

Fans of Bethesda’s upcoming game, Starfield, have a new reason to get excited. Microsoft is set to release a Starfield-inspired Xbox wireless controller and headset, with the launch date now confirmed for June 11, 2023, right after the Xbox Games Showcase 2023.

Images of the Starfield-themed Xbox controller recently surfaced on the image-hosting site Imgur, sparking speculation among fans. While some believed the controller to be a fan-made customization, others pointed to specific details in the images as evidence of its official status.

During an Xbox Era podcast, member K. Asante hinted at the existence of a Starfield-themed Xbox wireless gaming headset. It was discovered that there is a presence of two new limited editions Xbox accessories, codenamed “Ogden” and “Orren.” The accessories are priced at $79.99 for the wireless controller and $124.99 for the headset in the United States.

According to Twitter user Bilbill-kun, it is now confirmed that the “Ogden” and “Orren” accessories are official Xbox-branded wireless controllers and headsets in Starfield colors. The European prices for these accessories are €74.99 for the wireless controller and €124.99 for the headset. An anonymous source also provided the supposed UK prices: £69.99 for the Xbox Wireless Controller – Starfield Limited Edition and £114.99 for the Xbox Wireless Headset – Starfield Limited Edition.

These accessories will be officially presented during the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 on June 11, 2023. While it would have made sense for their releases to coincide with Starfield’s release date of September 6, 2023, these accessories are believed to be available as early as June 11, 2023.

Since the design is not officially confirmed, take it with a grain of salt. There is not much time left until the official reveal so it won’t take that long to see this controller and headset.
